Yesterday, we took the first step of the long journey. We had a full house (get it?) of Noen, Vy, Chris, and Deej. Hac helped me teach which made me pretty happy because I had some concepts I know I did not do a great job explainin. Also, we were able to focus on the students a lot better.

We went over the concepts of EV, Odds (pot and implied) and more in-depth into preflop play. I gave out a handout with a chart of the specific hands to play from each position.

Today officially began the long journey towards being a winning poker player. I've been playing poker for about 3 years now with limited success. The reason for this blog is to document my daily progression, as well as for a place to put hand histories and for random stuff.
