I want to apologize ahead of time for posting a lot of hands that are "close" and probably don't matter long-term. I figure I can learn something and have these to look back on for future studying.
- QTo for 3 bets pre
- I know I can shove flop, but it wasn't incredibly drawy so I figured he might bluff turn. Shove this everytime? I guess looking back he doesn't really have enough for a good turn bluff.
- T8s for 3 bets pre
- So I don't have a full stack since the deep stack tables make it so I cannot auto-reload. Do you bet out and if so, how much? Or do you go for C/R AI?
- Q3o How many do you call?
- I have to call the flop, and I think the turn is alright too. Would you fold turn? Call river if not obvious straight or flush?
- AJo for 3 bets pre
- Woudl you bet this everytime since the K is a big part of my range? How would you play this differently?
- 97s
- Should I raise this flop and fold to a reraise? I don't know. I was going to call flop and probably value raise turn if a safe card comes. Or I might have called? It's hands like this that make me think I don't know how to play.
- 88 vs 1/2 stack facing small RR
- I called here thinking I would go with my hand on some sort of board. I'm not sure what kind of board that was. Should I fold or shove preflop? I'm guessing my decision should be made preflop but I'm not sure. (Villain unknown)
- 33 flop IP
- This has to be a bet, right? I mean I do have a flush draw, but I basically have nothing, so I have to bet this? This is such an elementary question. Mrah.
- JQo turn bet size
- Thinking of his range, it seems like I need to bet less for a draw to call OOP and if I bet less, maybe a Jack will call again, and a Queen might check/raise. Should I make this 120 instead of 145?
- QTs turn play
- I raised min here to try and get his whole stack with QK or AQ, but I don't know if I would get value on two streets liek that against the range that I have beat. Should I just be calling to induce another bluff on the river? The turn added a lot of draws, so iI figured a raise would also charge more for hands like JK, 9J, AJ, AK, 89, hearts. Most of the gutties would have to fold, but I don't really want them drawing for that amount anyway.
- AKo OOP 175BB
- I called preflop since we are deep. That could be mistake #1. After that I think I failed to put him on a good range, which is mistake number two. How would you play this differently given the preflop call? Or is that not even a good question since I should never just call here?
- 87s turn call
- This is one that I think I should be embarrased about. He knows that I would not smooth call with anything significant on the flop, but he also knows that I would call with a flush draw if he pays attention to my numbers. So when the turn comes he is probably not bluffing much? I think flop is easy call and turn should be obvious fold, right?
- 99 with ace on the turn OOP
- I think I have to call this river sometimes, right? He would definitely bet the turn with a draw here sometimes. He could have A8, A6, A3 a lot. I don't know. What do you think? Nevrborn is a good winning player.
- 34s OOP hit draw
- I need to give myself another way to win the hand. How often do you check/raise this? I think you don't like to check raise this, but I think that leading turn and river is a good idea here repping JQ. What do you think?
